An original musical performed at the University of the Arts in 2019. The piece was developed with two separate youth ensembles who contributed theatrical explorations based on their personal experiences, centering the complexities of community and intersectionality. Sheridan Merrick and Nick Hatcher are the co-conceivers and book writers of Red & Black, with Sheridan going on as lead composer in later iterations with David Thomas, with additional musical contributions by Birdy Lynn, Hallie Nowicki, and Jared Chichester.

Hallie is proficient in jazz, tap, partnering, and stage combat. Her past choreography credits include Bright Star (CCT), which is featured in this image. She also performed in the production as Lucy Grant in Spring of 2024. She will be choreographing Something Rotten at the Curtain Call Theatre this upcoming Spring, 2025.
